I'm curious to know if there are any audio/text chat rooms on the web? Not programs like GCN, Skype or Ventrilo. Chat rooms that you can add to your site w/html code and use by just clicking on a link and not having to download anything. Any ideas?

You can get the software the For the People uses, but it's not terribly cheap.

Nope it's not I think $400 something for 10 users and 3 rooms. No way and no thanks lol. BTW the program is called chatterbox.

I don't think there's such a chat room, I mean a chat room where you don't have to download anything. You could try I vocalize but I don't think that's very cheap either.

Yeah the reason why I'm asking is. People want to use the chat feature on my site. The only thing is: they're either too lazy to download and install along with learning how to use the site. Too afraid to use it if it's not jaws friendly. Or another chat program in general. So I'm trying to find a way where people can just go to the site's chat page, click on a link and start chatting.
